Clear Creek Stables provides conditioning for out-of-shape horses. Shown below are before-and-after photographs of Spider, a Quarter Horse and Leroy, a Tennessee Walker. As you can see, they looked like overweight draft horses when they arrived at Clear Creek Stables; when they left, they looked like show material.

Overweight horses are not the only ones who need conditioning. We have also brought seriously undernourished horses back to glorious health, including our own Tennessee Walking Horse stud, Pusher's Einstein, after we purchased him.

We also offer "spring tune-ups" on trail horses. We will condition those out-of-shape trail horses with many miles of riding through the beautiful hills of Rockcastle County. The area provides great trail experience with lots of water crossings, hills, logs and other natural obstacles.

Clear Creek Stables also provides layup services for injured or ill horses. All the horses we condition or nurse get first-rate, hands-on, frequent attention from a handler/trainer with 30 years' experience and a B.S. degree in Agriculture from nearby top-rated Berea College.
